Well my birthday just passed a few days ago and i turned 21. Of course I went out drinking and got wasted, threw up that night and the next morning. I stopped taking accutane for 3 sessions cause i thought my body needed a break.

Two reliable forms of birth control should be used at the same time during treatment unless abstinence is the chosen method. Birth control must be used for at least one month before starting isotretinoin, during treatment with this medication and for at least one month after stopping the isotretinoin. Most people who take this medicine have some of the less serious side effects. These include dry skin, dry mouth, chapped lips, nosebleeds, dry eyes, and trouble wearing contact lenses. These side effects usually are not a big problem and can be treated with moisturizers, artificial tears, and other products. If you have dry eyes while taking this medicine, you may have to wear glasses instead of contact lenses.

Then came 2020, and I had the worst breakout I’ve ever had. Medications other than those listed above may interact with this medication. Tell your doctor or prescriber about all prescription, over-the-counter (non-prescription), and herbal medications you are taking. Since caffeine, alcohol, the nicotine from cigarettes, or street drugs can affect the action of many medications, you should let your prescriber know if you use them.
